यो विद्यालय देखतभूली गाविस वडा न.१ स्थित ढक्का राधाकृष्णपुर भन्ने गाँउंमा स्थानिय शिक्षा प्रेमी र समाज सेवी अभिभावक ज्यूहरुको सहयोग र श्री नारायण दत्त भट्ट को नेतृत्वमा सबै गाँउलेहरु मिलेर २०२८ साल माघ १० गते उक्त गाँउको विचमा खुल्ला मैदानमा एउटा सानो झोपडी निर्माण गरि विद्यालय स्थापना गरि श्री सरस्वती प्राथमिक विद्यालय नामाकरण साथ कक्षा १ को पठन पाठन सञ्चालन गरियो । शिक्षक श्री राम सिं भण्डारी र व्यवस्थापनमा श्री नरायण दत्त भट्ट ज्यूको संयूक्त नेतृत्वमा संचालन उक्त विद्यालयलाई २०४१ साल चैत्र १५ गते जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालय बाट कक्षा १ को अनुमति प्राप्त भयो भने २०४२ साल चैत्र २४ गते एउटा दरबन्दि सहित कक्षा २ को स्विकृत प्रदान गरियो । यसरी क्रमिक रुपमा अनुमति प्राप्त गरि २०४५ साल चैत्र ९ गते कक्षा ४ र ५ को अनुमति प्राप्त गरि यो विद्यालय कक्षा १ दखि कक्षा ५ सम्म सञ्चालन भई निरन्तर पठन पाठन कार्य चल्दै आएको थियो । २०५८ सालको आरक्ष विस्तार कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत यो विद्यालय सो उक्त ठाउँबाट बिस्थापित हुन पूग्यो र उक्त ढक्का बस्ती सँगै बसाई सराई भई २०५९ सालमा कालिका गाविस वडा नं.९ अन्तर्गत कटान क्षेत्रमा अध्यक्ष श्री भज्जन राना ज्यू र शिक्षक मेशर राना हरुले कालिका गाविस बाट अनुमति लिएर उक्त ठाँउंमा श्री गणेश प्रा.वि. नामाकरण गरि कक्षा ज्ञ देखि कक्षा ३ सम्म पठन पाठन गरिहेको स्थानमा आईपुग्यो । तत्पश्चात उक्त ठाउंमा सम्पुर्ण अभिभावक मिलेर गणेश प्रा.वि. लाई बन्द गरि श्री भज्जन राना को अध्यक्षतामा यो स्विकृत विद्यालयलाई सञ्चालन गर्न निर्णय गरि उक्त खुल्ला मैदानमा पुःन यो विद्यालय एउटा सानो झोपडीको रुपमा परणित भई सञ्चालनमा आयो र ढक्का गाउ बाट बसाई सराई भई आएको यस बस्ती लाई ढक्का बस्ती र यस विद्यालयलाई यस ठाउंमा पनि ढक्का स्कुल भनेर चिनिन थाल्यो । र २०६६ सालमा यो विद्यालय नि.मा.वि तह कक्षा ६ सञ्चालन गरि निरन्तर कक्षा बढ्दै २०६९ साल सम्म कक्षा वालविकास देखि कक्षा ८ सम्म सञ्चालनको लागि जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालय बाट अनुमति प्राप्त गरि हाल सम्म निरन्तर सञ्चालन भैरहेको छ ।
This school was established on January 24, 1971 (Magh 10, 2028 BS) in the village of Dhakka Radhakrishnapur, located in the then Dekhatbhuli VDC, Ward No. 1. It was founded by local education enthusiasts, socially conscious guardians, and villagers under the leadership of Mr. Narayan Datta Bhatta. A small hut was built in the open field in the middle of the village, and classes for grade 1 began under the name of Shree Saraswoti Primary School. Jointly operated under the leadership of teacher Mr. Ram Singh Bhandari and management head Mr. Narayan Datta Bhatta, the school received official permission for grade 1 from the District Education Office on March 29, 1985 (Chaitra 15, 2041 BS), and approval for grade 2 along with a teacher quota position on April 6, 1986 (Chaitra 24, 2042 BS). Gradually receiving further approvals, the school obtained permission for grades 4 and 5 on March 22, 1989 (Chaitra 9, 2045 BS) and continued running classes 1 through 5.
भौगोलीक अवस्था
यो विद्यालयमा कञ्चनपुर जिल्ला पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा न.१ स्थित ढक्का गणेशवस्ती भन्ने गाँउमा रहेको जनजाती राना थारु को बाक्लो वस्तिको विचमा अवस्थित छ । यस विद्यालको दक्षिण तर्फ बेलौरी धनगढी हुलाकी सडक, श्री कञ्चन न्यु ब्लुम फिल्ड एकेडेमी र श्री नव युग विद्या निकेतन पर्दछन भने उत्तर तर्फ नकटाबाबा शिव मन्दिर र कालेश्वर आधारभूत विद्यालय भकुण्डा का साथै पुर्व तर्फ श्री रामबुद्ध मा.वि. र श्री जनशक्ती आधारभूत आ.वि. बलभद्रवस्ती र पश्चिम तर्फ बेलौरी नगरपालिका अन्तरगत पर्र्ने श्री सरस्वती माध्यमीक विद्यालय वुटावरी रहेको छ । हाल आएर यस विद्यालमा ३ वटा लेण्टर सहितका पक्की भवन र ३ वटा कर्कट पाता भएका पक्की भवन गरि जम्मा ६ वटा भवन र १५ वटा कोठाहरु छन । जस्मा १ वटा कार्यालय,१वटा कम्प्युटर कोठा र ज्ञ वटा पुुस्तकालय रहेका छन । विद्यालयको हाता भित्र खेल्ने मैदान र उत्तरतिर पर्खाल र २ वटा मुख्य गेट रहेका छन । भौगोलीक दृष्टिकोणले यो विद्यालय दुर्गम छैन ।
विद्यालय रहेको समुदायको बनोट
यो विद्यालय पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा न.१ स्थित ढक्का, गणेशबस्ती गाउंमा अवस्थित छ । यो गाउमा जनजाती राना थारु र चौधरी को बाक्लो बस्ती छ । यहां विशेष गरी राना थारु बस्छन भने थारै मात्रामा अन्य जातका मानीसहरु बरोबास गर्दछन । यहंँको घरधुरी १५९० र जनसंख्या महिला ४४९३, पुरुष ४८१७ गरि जम्मा ९३१० रहेको छ । जस्मा वालवालीका देखि वृद्ध सम्म रहेका छन । यस वस्तिमा वसोवास गर्ने मानीसहरु अधिकांश गरिव,अशिक्षित र सामान्य स्तरका रहेका छन । होली,माघी,चराई,तिहार आदि यहां बस्ने राना थारु र चौधरी थारु का मुख्य चाडपर्वहरु हुन । यी जातीका मानीसहरु विभिन्न किसिमका रंग भएका वस्त्रहरु लगाउछन भने पहिलेको तुलनामा आज भोली यस समुदाएका मानीसहरुमा परिवर्तन आएको देखिन्छ । आर्थीक स्थिति बलियो बनाउन यस समुदायका मानीसहरु आजभोली वैदेशिक रोजगारमा समेत गएको देखिन्छन ।
Due to the wildlife reserve expansion program in 2058 BS, the school was forced to relocate from that original site. Following the migration of the Dhakka settlement itself, the school reached Kalika VDC Ward No. 9 in 2059 BS—where a school named Shree Ganesh Primary School was already operating from grade 1 to grade 3 in the cutting area, having received permission from Kalika VDC under the initiative of Chairman Mr. Bhajjan Rana and teacher Meshar Rana. Thereafter, all the guardians collectively decided to close down Ganesh Primary School and operate this approved school under the chairmanship of Mr. Bhajjan Rana. Once again, the school transformed into a small hut in an open field. Since the migrated community originated from Dhakka village, both the settlement and the school came to be known locally as "Dhakka School." In 2066 BS, the school extended its education up to the lower secondary level (grade 6), and progressively added higher grades until 2069 BS, when it received permission from the District Education Office to run classes from Early Childhood Development (ECD) up to grade 8, a status it has maintained continuously to this day.
The school is situated in the heart of a densely populated indigenous Rana Tharu community in Dhakka Ganeshbasti, Punarbas Municipality Ward No. 1, Kanchanpur district. Geographically, it is bounded on the south by the Belauri-Dhangadhi Hulaki road, Shree Kanchan New Bloom Field Academy, and Shree Nawa Yuga Vidya Niketan; on the north by the Naktababa Shiva Temple and Kaleshwar Basic School of Bhukunda; on the east by Shree Rambuddha Secondary School and Shree Janshakti Basic Primary School of Balbhadravasti; and on the west by Shree Saraswoti Secondary School of Butavari (under Belauri Municipality).
Currently, the school has a total of 6 buildings containing 15 rooms, which include 3 concrete buildings with RCC roofs and 3 buildings with corrugated tin roofs. These consist of 1 office room, 1 computer lab, and 1 library. Inside the school premises, there is a playground, with a boundary wall and two main gates situated on the northern side. From a geographical perspective, this school is not in a remote location.
The school is located in the village of Dhakka Ganeshbasti, Punarbas Municipality Ward No. 1, which features a dense settlement of indigenous Rana Tharus and Chaudhary communities. The population consists predominantly of Rana Tharus, alongside a small number of residents from other castes. The area has 1,590 households with a total population of 9,310 (4,493 females and 4,817 males), encompassing all age groups from children to the elderly. Most of the residents living in this settlement are poor, uneducated, and belong to a general economic standard.
The primary festivals celebrated by the Rana Tharu and Chaudhary communities here include Holi, Maghi, Charai, and Tihar. People of these communities traditionally wear vibrant, multi-colored garments, though visible changes in lifestyle and culture have emerged in recent times. To strengthen their economic conditions, many individuals from this community now also seek foreign employment opportunities abroad.
